ACTC 2018

Advances in Cell and Tissue Culture

21. - 23.05.2018, Cardiff, UK

The Advances in Cell and Tissue Culture international conference aims to create an interdisciplinary forum in which over 100 industry and academic researchers, working in cell culture can exchange knowledge, promote their activities and set up new collaborative projects.

ACTC has been running for 10 years with growing success. 2018 marks the 10th year of this annual event, and is set to be the best yet, with a great line-up of speakers anticipated across a diverse range of topics.

ACTC encourages all levels of researchers, from PhD student to Professor, from both leading industry organisations and academia to get involved and share their research findings with their fellow scientists. It is a great opportunity for networking.

The programme covers a wide range of interesting, relevant topics across a broad range of disciplines. This is a unique opportunity to bring together different groups of people to come up with new, innovative ideas and collaborations.

ACTC is great value! We keep registration fees to a minimum to encourage participation from academic researchers. This helps to bring together scientists from a number of disciplines, fosters new collaborations, and allows junior scientists to hear about the latest cutting-edge techniques and to present their own data. Registration includes attendance to all scientific sessions alongside lunch and refreshments.

In addition to an excellent scientific programme, we offer you the exciting opportunity to attend a traditional Welsh Banquet at Cardiff Castle for our annual gala dinner event!

Topics include:

Advanced Cell Culture, Creating More Realistic Gut Models, Disease Modelling, DMPK, Animal Replacement, In Vitro Models for the Study of Neurological Diseases, Microphysiological Systems and Stem Cells.

Call for Papers

ACTC 2018's call for papers is now open! Take a look at our scientific programme and individual session descriptions and if your research fits within one of these sessions, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
